Since SHE WAS 10 years old, Heidi worked with her mother every day after school, ON weekends, and EVERY summer until 17, then came around whenever her mother needed her. Heidi received a call one day, about her mother forgetting and losing things like bank statements. tHIS TIME HEIDI CAME around TO HELP BUT STAYed FOR GOOD. Heidi left the new york new york casino where she cocktailed to train with Brig and Margo. she wasnt prepared to take over but made it happen. Heidi took care of her mother while running the shop in the daytime, she would run home at night to feed Ms. HeddY. MS. HEDDY passed in march of 2003 and for the next five years, Heidi would pay her brother and 3 sisters monthly to buy out ‘HEDDY’S FABRIC".

Heidi is most proud of surving from the pandemic to tariffs. after the pandemic half of her vendors disappeared, and with rising tariffs, supPliers in other countries ARE also disappearing. heddys fabric stands firm since opening in 1966, Ms heddy opened more than a shop. People feel happy when they’re inside, IT IS a safe place that welcomes everyone, giving THE opportunity to connect with others.
