I'm a self-taught Fashion Artist inspired by learning and education. My greatest inspiration of all is human capability- the power within to flourish and grow. My fashion journey did’nt begin in class, I learned through deconstruction, carefully taking clothes apart, studying every seam, pattern, and stitch until I understood how they come together. I have realized through my journey that my love for helping my community is greater than my love for design. Glitz N Gold is an ode to the city of sin, where the people and culture became my source of healing and strength. I believe all things connect and this is a manifestation. Succeeding in this industry will allow me to gain the platform necessary to give back. My intention is to create work that nurtures my local creative ecosystem.
